Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

Find free Narcotics Anonymous meetings throughout Maryland and connect with a supportive recovery community. The Free State Region offers in-person and virtual meetings, newcomer resources, and a 24-hour helpline for individuals seeking recovery from drug addiction. If you're unsure where to start, the meeting finder can help you locate a meeting near you.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Alcoholics Anonymous is a free, peer-led fellowship that helps individuals recover from alcohol addiction through local meetings and shared support. The Maryland General Service meeting finder connects visitors with in-person and virtual AA meetings throughout the state, making it easy to find a group nearby and begin the recovery journey.

SMART Recovery

SMART Recovery offers free, science-based support meetings for people recovering from addiction and other addictive behaviors. Using evidence-based tools rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, SMART Recovery helps participants build motivation, manage cravings, and develop healthy coping skills. Use the meeting finder to locate in-person and online SMART Recovery meetings throughout Maryland.

Al-Anon Family Groups

Al-Anon Family Groups provides free, confidential support for families and friends whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking. Through local and virtual meetings, members find encouragement, understanding, and practical tools for coping with the challenges of a loved one's alcohol use. The Maryland & DC Area and Maryland Al-Anon websites make it easy to find meetings and learn more about the program.

Nar-Anon Family Groups

Nar-Anon Family Groups offers free, confidential support for family members and friends affected by a loved one's drug addiction. Through peer-led meetings, participants share experiences, find encouragement, and learn healthy ways to cope while supporting their own well-being. The Mid-Atlantic Nar-Anon Region serves Maryland and provides both in-person and virtual meetings to help families connect with support close to home.
